*This course is aimed at actors not beginners. If you have not done L1, L2, L3 Screen Acting you can apply for this course via email with a recent self tape or showreel and some info about your previous screen experience* DATES: Sunday x 1 & Saturdays x 3 4th, 10th, 17th, 24th June. TIME: 10am-4pm LOCATION: TBC TUTOR: Head of Screen Acting - Scarlett Alice Johnson In this Advanced course you will continue to work with professional film and TV scripts in an on-set style. You'll rehearse, block and film scenes, working at pace with a variety of actors. The course will build across the four weeks so you can track your personal development. COURSE CONTENT: Shoot multiple set-up's including static and more dynamic scenes Be given direction using on-set language Work at an on-set pace Be given time for playback and performance analysis Work with props, costume and continuity Work on longer, consecutive scenes from episodes and movies Learn to consider story arc and character journey when filming scenes out of story order. ABOUT SCARLETT: Scarlett is an experienced and successful actress best known for her roles as Laura in BBC's comedy series Pramface & Vicki Fowler in Eastenders. Scarlett has also starred in the feature film Adulthood, ITV's Good Karma Hospital and Comedy Central's Big Bad World. Alongside her theatrical career Scarlett has also performed in long running shows such as Midsummer Murders and Call the Midwife. Scarlett's career started at the age of seventeen and she has worked consistently since then. She joined us at TAC as Head of Screen Acting, to share her insights, tools and tips about navigating the industry, performing on screen and what it's like to train on-the-job. WHY TAKE PART?
