Tuesdays 15th Sept- 4th Oct 7pm-9.30pm Location TBC Join Scarlett Alice Johnson for a 4 week course exploring the do's and don'ts of Screen Acting and industry expectations. Build your confidence to audition and perform with ease on screen. Perfect for those new to screen or anyone needing a refresher! People who did the previous 4 week course are welcome to join this one as well to continue your training. You will: Learn and explore various shots Work on scenes with multiple characters Explore playing a variety of characters on screen Learn on-set language and expectations Gain a better understanding of the job of the director and AD's on set Build skills for your own self tapes Discover your strengths and areas of focus for your training Explore techniques for voice and physicality on screen Learn in a relaxed, fun, inclusive environment All have equal screen time and feedback. About the tutor: Scarlett is an experienced and successful actress best known for her roles as Laura in BBC's comedy series Pramface & Vicki Fowler in Eastenders. Scarlett has also starred in the feature film Adulthood, ITV's Good Karma Hospital and Comedy Central's Big Bad World. Alongside her theatrical career Scarlett has also performed in long running shows such as Midsummer Murders and Call the Midwife. Scarlett's career started at the age of seventeen and she has worked consistently since then. She joins us TAC to share her insights, tools and tips about navigating the industry, performing on screen and what it's like to train on-the-job.
