SHOWCASE SCRIPTS

WRITERS WE NEED YOU!

We are looking for short plays and monologues from emerging and experienced writers, for our regular actors showcases.

What we are looking for:

• 5 minute duologues of any theme or topic (apart from C19)

• 1 minute monologues

• Duologues should be max 6 Pages of text 

• Drama or Comedy

• Plays with two characters that are Male/Female OR Female/Female OR gender neutral OR non-binary characters (we cannot accept plays with 2 male characters due to casting)

• Character should be aged 18-40 

• Finished pieces not first drafts

• A clear story arc and developed characters.

• No supernatural stories

• Should be suitable for a very simple set and limited props.

All writers will receive a comp to watch the show and will be paid a £50 fee for their work.
